Christian advises on all aspects of corporate law, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in formations and restructurings and in acquiring interests in partnerships, limited liability companies, and stock corporations. The focus of his activities is drafting contracts.

In tax law, Christian advises on real estate and corporate transactions that are often cross-border transactions. In addition to corporate tax law, tax structurings in connection with non-profit organizations, such as foundations and associations, is another focus of Christian’s practice.

In contract matters, Christian focuses on drafting and reviewing contracts, in particular within the context of general terms and conditions. In this area, he drafts and reviews, for example, residential and commercial lease agreements, purchase and sales conditions, terms of use for online applications, license agreements, franchise agreements, insurance contracts, and purchase agreements in the areas of e-commerce and energy law. In addition to his drafting activities, Christian also protects the interests of his clients by litigating on their behalf.

In data privacy law, Christian advises, in particular, small and medium-sized entities. The spectrum reaches from preparing data protection material for websites and online applications to creating and improving contracts to process orders, develop data protection concepts, coordinate with supervisory authorities, and holding data in-house data privacy training sessions.

Christian studied Law at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University in Frankfurt. Simultaneously, he also took classes in American Studies and Sinology at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University. Subsequent to his studies, he worked at the Frankfurt House of Finance at the Institute for Insurance Law for Professor Dr. Manfred Wandt, where he assisted with several sections of the Münchener Kommentar zum VVG (Treatise on the German Insurance Contract Act). Christian also regularly held seminars on German law at the University Lumière Lyon II. After obtaining a Master of Arts Degree in Law, and receiving a scholarship from the Professor Dr. Zerweck-/Cassella-Foundation to work on a dissertation, Christian was admitted to the German Bar as a German Attorney at Law in 2017. Since then, he has been an Associate at SCHIEDERMAIR, primarily in the areas of real estate, corporate, tax and data privacy law. In May, 2018 Christian was awarded the Frankfurt Prize for insurance law studies for his dissertation on the control of insurance terms and conditions.
