Christian is a German Attorney at Law and a Certified Intellectual Property Law Specialist. He represents clients in proceedings before German courts and in arbitration proceedings. He has extensive and long-standing experience in complex business-law disputes, including proceedings to obtain or defend against preliminary injunctions or orders. Christian also advises in negotiating and drafting contracts and avoiding legal risks and disputes. His practice focuses on corporate law, in particular shareholder disputes, commercial and distribution law, competition law, and the protection of intellectual property and trade secrets.

Christian has gained industry-specific experience in particular in the energy supply, media technology, automotive, aviation, automation, food, leisure, hotel and hospitality, fashion and consumer goods sectors.

With SCHIEDERMAIR since 2009, and as Partner since 2013, Christian previously worked for the Frankfurt office of the US law firm Faegre & Benson LLP and before that until 2006 for a national law firm in Germany. Before being admitted to the Bar in 2005, Christian gained legal experience in 2004 as a Visiting Attorney at the US law firm Goulston & Storrs in Boston, MA and in the years prior to that, he worked in the legal department of RWE Solutions AG (formerly TESSAG) and DIVACO Beteiligungs AG & Co. KG, each in Frankfurt am Main.

Christian completed his post-graduate legal training period (Referendariat) from 2002-2004 in the Higher Regional Court District of Frankfurt am Main. During this time, he also completed a stint at the German Embassy in Manila, Philippines. He studied law at the Johann Wolfgang von Goethe-University, Frankfurt am Main, and at the German University of Administrative Sciences, Speyer.
